They will be joined in the Hunter Valley on January 18 by Birds of Tokyo and Busby Marou.

Now, for the first time ever, the band will be playing 14 outdoor shows in Australia and New Zealand during summer. Between New Year’s Eve and the second weekend of February, they’ll do gigs on the beach, gigs by the river and gigs in the bush.

The Norwegian trio, who dominated pop charts worldwide during the ’80s, are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their hugely influential debut album Hunting High And Low and its timeless classic hit Take On Me.

Joining a-ha to make this one poptastic event not to be missed is another superstar who dominated the ’80s, Rick Astley. With a treasure trove laden with shimmering pop hits, a-ha and Rick Astley are set to thrill fans.

The Hunter Valley show will also feature synth-pop stars Pseudo Echo and I Know Leopard.

Australia’s premium winery event is back in 2020. The dates for the 4th season of the country’s incredibly popular garden-party picnic by day turned fiesta by night. In 2019, Wine Machine attracted over 65,000 sommeliers-in-the-making across its 6 dates nationally as it descended upon the most famous and spectacular wine regions in the land for a decadent day of dining, drinking and dancing.

The organisers have promised a bumper 2020 vintage with the return of their signature “Cellar Door” epicurean delights. In addition, the wine-makers are delighted to announce the roll-out of the gourmet “Le Marche” where the top local chefs and farmers present the tastes of the region in a farmers market bazaar.
